Beneath the Archtopis

Beneath the Archtopis lives the hermit Torpuk. Scavenger of rats and mushrooms, his mind has become twisted toward those who live in the light. Mörken has tried to win him over, but his efforts left ten Troth warriors headless. The creature becomes more restless as the war moves closer to the Archtopis. "Enough waiting. The time has come to silence this foolishness. My rats are leaving me. That can't be allowed," whispers the troll.

 

Creex and the Crow

 Long ago and far away, a cranky old tree lived in a land forgotten by most. No one liked the tree, so no one talked to it. Well, almost no one. A cantankerous crow named Phiby lived in a nearby forest and loved to harang the old tree. Day or night, the two would argue about the weather or other nonsensical things. The ones who suffered were the forest folk, having to put up with the racket constantly. But as old Granny Knot says, "Better them yapping than to leave them on their own." I think she was worried they'd come to talk to her.
